THE HEAT~WAVE SYNERGY STONE
Hot stone therapy is a fantastic way to relieve muscle tension. The use of heat and pressure with the massage can help to further relax the body. The glide is slick and smooth and holds heat longer then other hot stones.
The application of heat deep into the muscles can have a major effect on the nervous system and treats hypertension and manages pain by dilating blood vessels and loosening the superficial muscles. Applied heat gives the massage therapist quicker access to the deeper layers of soft tissue. A stone can be heated between 120-130 degrees and is moved across the body in a continuous gliding fashion so it does not burn the skin. Clients are always advised to inform their therapist if the stones are too hot. If the stone is too hot for the massage therapist to hold, it is most likely too hot for the client.
